Dora Maar (photographed 1936) & Picasso’s interpretation
Striving to be perfect is an ever exhausting unattainable goal. Instead, strive to give 110% + effort. Perfectionism is the elephant in the china shop. It destroys creativity. Picasso did not seek to paint perfect eye proportions or even anatomically correct features. “The idea is less to remake reality than to express its possibilities.” Be perfectly imperfect!
Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not–Pablo Picasso
We are all fractured at some degree. Some more than others. But those fractures create beautiful art. Don’t view it as “broken” but in transition for something better. Be colorful in your brokenness and magnificent creations will emerge!
